Wislo is a product of Tarlo LLC (doing business as "Wislo"). In these Terms, "Wislo," "we," "us," and "our" mean Tarlo LLC dba Wislo. "You" and "your" mean the person or business that uses Wislo.
Effective date: July 15, 2026 Last updated: July 15, 2026
By starting a trial, sending a message to Wislo on WhatsApp, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Wislo.
1. What Wislo is
Wislo is a business assistant you use by chatting on WhatsApp. You send messages, photos of receipts, or voice notes, and Wislo helps you:
- record what you earn and spend,
- keep track of who owes you money and send friendly payment reminders,
- send a secure pay-by-link so customers can pay you by card,
- manage stock and simple tasks, and
- prepare a plain summary of your numbers for tax time.
Wislo is a bookkeeping and communication tool. It is not an accountant, a lawyer, a tax preparer, or a bank. It helps you organize your own information; it does not give you professional tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own tax filings and business decisions.
2. Who can use Wislo
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must use Wislo for a real business and give us accurate information (including your business name, address, and EIN or tax ID where we ask for it). If you use Wislo on behalf of a company, you promise you're allowed to accept these Terms for that company.
3. Your account
You reach Wislo through WhatsApp, so your account is tied to your WhatsApp identity (your phone number and/or WhatsApp username) plus the email and PIN you set during signup. Keep your PIN private. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you lose your phone or change your number, contact us and we'll help you move your account to your new number — your data stays tied to your internal account, not to a single phone number.
Tell us right away if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. When the trial ends, you need a paid subscription to keep using Wislo. We may change the length of the trial or end trial availability for new users at any time; this won't affect a trial already in progress.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Subscriptions. Wislo is sold as a monthly subscription across tiers (currently Starter, Business, and Store/Pro). The features and price of each tier are shown in the app and on our website and may change over time. If we change the price of a plan you're on, we'll give you notice before it applies to you.
Payment. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method the recurring fee for your plan until you cancel. Your full card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your complete card number.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellation. You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future charges; it doesn't refund the current period unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise. When your paid access ends, you can still ask us to export or delete your data (see Section 12).
Taxes. Prices don't include any taxes that may apply to your purchase; you're responsible for those.
6. Collecting payments from your customers ("pay-by-link")
Wislo can create a secure link so your customers can pay you by card. When you use this feature:
- Payments are processed by Stripe (via Stripe Connect). To collect money, you may need to complete Stripe's own onboarding and agree to Stripe's terms. Stripe — not Wislo — moves the money and settles it to your account.
- We are not a bank, a money transmitter, or a party to the sale between you and your customer. We don't hold your funds. Disputes, chargebacks, refunds, and the goods or services you sell are between you, your customer, and Stripe.
- Stripe (and card networks) charge processing fees. Those fees are separate from your Wislo subscription and are set by Stripe.
- You're responsible for using this feature honestly and only to collect money genuinely owed to you.
7. Messages Wislo sends on your behalf
When you ask Wislo to remind a customer or send them a payment link or a product photo, you are directing us to message that person on your behalf. You promise that:
- the contact is your real customer and the amount or request is genuine,
- you have a lawful basis to message them, and
- you'll follow WhatsApp's and Meta's rules and applicable messaging and consumer-protection laws.
Wislo includes guardrails — reminders stop when a debt is settled, there are limits on how often we message the same person, customers can reply "stop" to opt out, and we respect WhatsApp's messaging window. You agree not to use Wislo to harass anyone, to send spam, or to chase "debts" that aren't real. We can suspend features that are being misused.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use Wislo to:
- break the law or help anyone else break the law;
- launder money, commit fraud, or collect payments you're not owed;
- harass, threaten, or abuse anyone (including your own customers);
- send spam or messages that violate WhatsApp/Meta policies;
- upload malware, or try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Wislo;
- resell or white-label Wislo without our written permission; or
- impersonate someone else or misrepresent your business.
9. Your content and data
You keep ownership of the information you put into Wislo — your receipts, transactions, contacts, stock lists, and messages ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store and process Your Content so we can run the service for you, including passing it to the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to read a receipt photo or transcribe a voice note). How we handle Your Content is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own copies of anything important. Wislo's summaries and categories are a helpful starting point, not a certified record.
10. Third-party services
Wislo runs on top of services we don't control — including WhatsApp/Meta (messaging), Stripe (billing and payment collection), and AI providers that help understand your messages, read receipts, and transcribe voice notes. Your use of Wislo also means those providers process some of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, and your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms. We're not responsible for outages, changes, or acts of these third parties, though we'll do our best to keep the service running.
11. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Wislo available and reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may perform maintenance that briefly interrupts the service. If we make a major change that materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll aim to give you reasonable notice.
12. Exporting and deleting your data
You can ask Wislo at any time to export your data (we provide it in a machine-readable file) or to delete your account and data. Deletion is confirmed in two steps so it can't happen by accident, and once completed it is permanent. Some records may be kept for a limited time where the law requires (for example, transaction records needed for tax or anti-fraud rules) or in routine backups that age out on a schedule. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
Wislo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't warrant that Wislo's calculations, categories, summaries, or tax figures are complete or accurate for your situation. Always review your numbers and consult a qualified professional before filing taxes or making financial decisions.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to Wislo is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to cover and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of Wislo, the messages you direct us to send, the payments you collect, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent caused by us.
16. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Wislo and cancel any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, misuse the messaging or payment features, don't pay, or if we're required to by law or by WhatsApp/Meta or Stripe. If we end your account without cause, we'll let you export your data first where reasonably possible.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (for example, by message or email) before they take effect. Continuing to use Wislo after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, unless applicable law gives you the right to have it heard somewhere else. (If you want to fix venue to a specific Texas county, or add binding arbitration or a class-action waiver, your attorney should adjust this clause.)
19. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Wislo and replace any earlier understanding. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the Terms above): Wislo helps you run your shop's money over WhatsApp. It's a tool, not your accountant or bank. Be honest with the reminders and payment links you send. You own your data and can export or delete it anytime. Cards are handled by Stripe; money you collect is moved by Stripe, not held by us. We do our best but can't promise perfection, and our liability is limited.
